Taking an opportunity on the climate, Norman, Brian and I made a decision on a morning on the North Coast, beginning at Cley Coastguards. A quick seawatch produced a single distant Little Auk heading east and 4 Eider travelling in the other way.
Bishop’s Cover offered pleasant views of a pair of Kingfishers: the feminine proved to be delightfully photogenic. A lot of Black-tailed Godwits plus a number of of every of the anticipated waders. Two visits to Cross Road, Salthouse failed to show up the Waxwing flock: it had apparently been spooked by a man parking his automobile beneath the tree they have been roosting in.
