A person from Sparta, North Carolina, pleaded responsible on Friday to taking pictures and killing a bald eagle, a hen protected below federal regulation.
Robert Garner Gambill admitted to fatally taking pictures the eagle on June 5, close to the Farmers Fish Camp Street Bridge, which is situated alongside the New River in Alleghany County, not removed from the North Carolina-Virginia state line.
