Native to Antarctica, the penguin was no less than 3500 km (2200 mi.) away from dwelling! That is the furthest north an emperor penguin has ever been recorded.
Based on beachgoer Aaron Fowler, who watched the penguin stroll onto the seaside, “He tried to do like a slide on his on his stomach, pondering it was snow I assume and simply face planted within the sand and stood up and shook all of the sand off.”

Wildlife Rehabilitation
Malnourished, the 1 m (3.3 ft.) tall penguin is now below the care of skilled native seabird rehabilitator, Carol Biddulph.
Ms. Biddulph has assist from the Division of Biodiversity, Conservation and Points of interest in Western Australia, and he or she has obtained professional recommendation from her native vet and the College of Western Australia’s Dr Belinda Cannell.

Although Ms. Biddulph has rescued native penguins earlier than, this was by far the biggest penguin she’s ever labored with.
“Getting it again to the automobile was fairly a problem. We obtained it right into a provider, a big canvas pet provider, good and mushy and obtained it into the automobile, obtained it dwelling.”
