Linda and I joined Sue and Peter for a completely fulfilling afternoon and night, touring by rail from Salhouse to Sheringham, then to Holt and again on the ‘Christmas Particular’ prepare. The engine and carriages have been festooned with colored lights, as was the trackside: appropriate music and commentary (and the very fact we have been seated within the bar coach!) made for a memorable night. Different highlights included tea and muffins within the Whelk Coppers and a drink (and chips!) within the Robin Hood, the place one buyer appeared to have had a little bit of a wait! All through the night we watched Venus getting ever-closer to the Moon – a spectacular sight!
