Linda’s son Simon and his pleasant companion Jo stay in Cromer: we have been invited to spend a day with them birding and fossiling on the seashore. Assembly within the Customer Centre automotive park at Cley, we walked across the reserve and alongside the East Financial institution. To be sincere, there was little or no to excite us, and we determined to drive the quick distance to ‘Pure Environment’ at Bayfield Corridor. Whereas we loved our espresso, we have been handled to the standard shut views of Coal Tits, Nuthatches and the standard suspects on the feeders.
After lunch we carried on to Cromer, strolling down an extended flight of steps via the cliffside woods to the seashore. (Unhappy to see that the ‘Banksey’ has utterly gone) We spent a really nice hour discovering fossil belemnites (and in my case a wonderful Neolithic facet scraper)
We walked again to the automobiles previous Cromer Church (the place we loved terrific views of one of many resident Peregrines) to Jo and Simon’s home for a last cup of tea.
