Sue, Peter, Linda and I made a decision to take advantage of the final dry day for some time by taking a stroll across the Bayfield Corridor sculpture path. We have visited up to now and completely loved the mix of wildlife and open-air artwork: at this time was no exception.
A number of the sculptures / installations had been somewhat ‘difficult’, others had been superb: none, sadly, fell inside our budgets! I did purchase an vintage absinthe glass so as to add to my assortment, nevertheless!
Espresso at Pure Environment was most satisfying, not the least as a result of the feeders attracted Nuthatches and all of the native Tit species.
For lunch we moved northwards to Cley Smokehouse for kippers on toast and a glass of Prosecco: a 4 mile stroll leads east up the hills and again spherical to Bayfield Lake. This was the primary time Linda and I had visited this extremely stunning patch of arable land and mature woodland: though we noticed only a few birds, the glacial geology was fascinating.
After ending the day with extra sizzling drinks at Pure Environment we drove residence simply because the rain began.
