Man the creator and the destroyer – sadly, the vanity of the person has far-reaching implications for the world we dwell in. No different animal within the lifetime of this planet has achieved as a lot hurt to the surroundings and it simply doesn’t appear to cease. I’ll take a really small instance and construct my case round it.
The case is – take a look at the tv/or any media and look out for the promoting level of the automotive/SUVs and different related automobiles which can be promoting the offroad mobility. The commercials affect us a lot that we really feel proud as to place our print on each patch of grassland, each dune of sand and even barren rock. This, sadly, has an affect on the surroundings that we’re too smug to even acknowledge. Beneath are the images of two ground-dwelling birds that keep amongst us and nest on the bottom. Each time we put our print on that piece of land – that’s pristine – we threat destroying a era of birds or animals that decision that place their dwelling.
Throughout one of many birding journey, I photographed beneath, an Ashy-crowned Sparrow Lark that stood on a rock intently taking a look at me. Nicely, it was the breeding season and the stare made me uncomfortable. I appeared intently at a patch of grass close to to the place I used to be standing – and it took me nearly an hour of transferring fastidiously to grasp why the hen was not relaxed. Have a look at the images beneath to get a way.

One careless step can spell the tip of a era of this hen. I’ve visited Europe, the US, and Australia for birding and I see the distinction – they attempt to implement conservation by marking out areas as breeding spots and even punishing those that violate these locations. In India nonetheless – we’re nonetheless 1,000,000 miles from respecting our nature – and that could be a disgrace since we pray and worship nearly all types of life which can be there.
One other downside that I face very often is the aggressive hen photographer – who – to get that good shot doesn’t respect these boundaries.

I do want that such ads for offroading are banned and folks educated of the issues of such environmentally irresponsible behaviour. Hope this write-up serves as a banner – and the winds carry it to 1,000,000 individuals.
