Simply Brian and I in the present day, so we headed straight for Morston Quay to seek for yesterday’s Black Redstarts. Different highlights included a pair of Rock Pipits, three Spoonbills over and a really dapper Greenshank.
After an hour or two we moved eastward to Cley for espresso and scones: aside from some shut Marsh Harrier motion, a stroll alongside the East Financial institution wasn’t notably productive, so we determined to move house by the use of Hickling.
Regardless of an intensive search, there was no signal of the reported Garganeys, however Little Ringed Plover was new for the 12 months and it is all the time good to see Cranes!
