Brian and I had a morning on the north coast, beginning at Kelling Heath, the place we noticed Dartford and Willow Warbler and several other Stonechats: we heard Turtle Dove and Woodlark. On the stroll again to the automobile we got here throughout an Elder bush that was heaving with Inexperienced Hairstreaks!
A transfer to Cley noticed us in Bishop’s Disguise simply in time to look at a flock of fourteen Shiny Ibis (and a Cormorant) powering westward. They had been tracked all the way in which to the wash! A Spoonbill was good to look at, with it is saffron-coloured invoice tirelessly sweeping the water.
After espresso we visited the centre hides, the place Pat’s Pool held distant Widespread and Wooden Sandpiper in addition to each Little and Temminck’s Stint. A distant Bittern flew excessive in the direction of Blakeney. And so residence!
