With only a morning free, Linda, Sue, Peter and I began the morning at Lynford Arboretum. Regardless of stroll spherical (and presumably due to the big variety of dog-walkers) only a few passerines have been in proof, though we did get distant views of a pair of displaying Goshawks. Better of the remainder was a single Yellowhammer and a Nice Noticed Woodpecker…
Espresso at Brown’s was adopted by a drive to the Goshawk layby, the place it was enjoyable checking out the a number of Goshawks we noticed from the hordes of Buzzards, Kestrels and Sparrowhawks. A pair of displaying Curlews have been fascinating to observe, as was a singing Skylark.
A late lunch at Oxborough Corridor after which residence through Watton to dodge the site visitors!
