Because the devastating Southern California fires proceed to burn, our ideas are with all these which were impacted.
We’re grateful to the firefighters, first responders, and different emergency personnel working tirelessly to guard lives and wildlife.
Whereas our efforts are centered on aquatic birds, our fellow wildlife responders are very busy coping with displaced wildlife caught up in these firestorms. They deserve our assist, too.
We stand prepared to help different wildlife teams affected by these fires – particularly our longtime companion, California Wildlife Middle in Calabasas that was evacuated this week because the Palisades Hearth edged nearer to its facility.
Going ahead, in case you are close to wildlife corridors, please depart bowls of water for fleeing wildlife. They’re thirsty and scared. In case you want help, please name our Chicken Helpline at 866-SOS-BIRD (866-767-2473) or attain out to your native wildlife group.
We’re all on this collectively.
