The Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia celebrated the opening of the biggest purpose-built platypus rescue facility on the planet. The brand new facility will be capable of home as much as 65 platypuses rescued from pure disasters like bushfires or drought.
Guests to the zoo can even be capable of see a 23 year-old male platypus, named Mackenzie, who was introduced in from Taronga Zoo in Sydney.
