These two wonderful occasions are held aspect by aspect on the Norfolk Showground: a single ticket offers admission to each. We visited the Backyard Present yesterday and the Antiques Truthful at the moment.
Spotlight of the Backyard Present for me was the terrific show of insectivorous vegetation by ‘Predator Crops’ of Rackheath: I purchased a wide variety of latest Drosera species so as to add to the already giant assortment. Linda managed to fill the again of the automotive with herbaceous perennials, and low and sizzling doughnuts have been a naughty deal with!
The Antiques Truthful was well-attended by sellers and browsers: one shock was a menage of Oystercatchers that have been completely oblivious to the crowds! We did not spend a lot – we have almost run out of house in our small bungalow – however managed to move an pleasing couple of hours.
