This weekend was a reunion for Linda, me and previous mates Jason, Jane and Paul: see above for particulars! Having loved our conventional lunch at Orford Quay, we carried on south to Shingle Road – a spot with an enchanting if considerably macabre historical past. After a brief stroll behind the Martello Towers we unexpectedly got here throughout a pair of Quick-eared Owls: whether or not they have been displaying or collaboratively looking, who is aware of?
