Brian and I met early and drove north west to Stiffkey Fen. Regardless of a full layby, for ten minutes there have been no different birders searching for yesterday’s Wilson’s Phalarope. One man kindly let me use his costly binocular telescope – an incredible little bit of equipment! I used to be completely blissful that I used to be wanting on the Pec, as was everybody else. At this level a new-comer known as the hen as a juvenile Dunlin. For some cause everybody bowed to his opinion: I requested him if he’d come throughout a Dunlin with mustard-coloured legs earlier than: he replied that he could not see them! Different birds on the Swimming pools included a giant flock of Golden Plover and three or 4 Pink Kites.
