Porter (3 years previous) and Taiyang (2 years previous) initially lived at Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend, Indiana. They’re settling into their new habitat at Lincoln Park Zoo properly.
Sichuan takins are members of the goat-antelope household. Within the wild, they stay within the mountainous bamboo forests of central China. Sichuan takins are recognizable by their curved horns which resemble handlebar mustaches!

This multi-level construction mimics the steep mountains within the takin’s native vary within the Himalayan mountains, encouraging the brothers to climb and play.
