With nothing new on the north coast and the Caspian having departed the Brecks, Brian, Norman and I weaved by means of the visitors to Minsmere. Among the many first to reach, we walked out to the general public viewing platform the place I rapidly discovered ✔ primary: a Little Gull. After a little bit of a delay, a man with a ‘scope pinned down ✔ quantity 2: the long-staying (however elusive) Roseate Tern. We watched this pleasant sprite for practically an hour: though considerably distant, we might pick all of the salient options – a terrific chicken! Shifting spherical to Island Mere, I met John Richardson and his posse: considered one of these identified ✔ quantity 3: a small group of Goldcrests! Different birds included Mediterranean Gull, Interest and Sparrowhawk.
We completed the outing with a stroll spherical Dunwich Heath, beginning by the ‘quarry’. Some beautiful Butterflies, together with a number of Silver-studded Blues, Small Coppers, Small Heath and so forth, in addition to a singing Nightingale.
