Bonjour, at present together with my contribution to Saturday’s weblog, mama is posting her spinach balls, so good to eat and so good for you and really easy with spring’s recent spinach (or swiss chard, too).
Spinach balls with olive oil, lemon juice and recent pepper sprinkled over them are a stunning recent deal with together with luch or dinner.
1 pound of recent spinach, wilted in a little bit salted water and drained rather well in a colander…no liquid left. Save spinach water for soups. And provides Popeye a run for his cash, haha.
SPINACH BALLSL
1 small candy onion, chopped very fantastic
A squeeze of lemon
Salt to style and a grate of nutmeg
Olive oil, lemon and pepper
Chop the cooked spinach very fantastic or pulse within the bowl of a meals processor with all the opposite components. With clear palms, kind small parts of the combination into balls and place on a serving plate. Costume with a sprinkling of olive oil, a squeeze of lemon and a little bit recent pepper. Chill or serve room temp, they’re good both manner.
