Regardless of the excessive winds and risk of rain, Linda and I spent a really pleasurable day in Suffolk with pals Sue, Joyce, Peter and Andrew. Southwold is a pleasant little seaside city, with some superb meals retailers, galleries, outlets and locations to eat. After a breezy stroll round and a stroll to the tip of the pier we loved lunch in ‘The Canteen’, a group restaurant with an imaginative, principally veggie menu.
