It isn’t that way back (a fortnight?) that we had been all hoping for some severe rain: properly it is arrived and spoiled just a few plans! Yesterday Linda and I had been booked on the Stalham Kingfisher cruise: the organisers ‘phoned to postpone on the final minute: then the climate forecast for right this moment prompted Norman to name and cancel right this moment’s LotSW run out – we had been desiring to have a bash on the Dotterel and Crimson-backed Shrike up within the north west of the county. Lastly, there was one other purple alert for a possible aurora final night time: the clouds duly rolled in, so all I managed was a flush of color within the northern sky. (The waxing Moon low down within the south was good to see!)
