Regardless of having a completely horrible dangerous again, I recklessly visited the North Coast with Brian, beginning with a grind via the shingle to the North Display screen and Gillmor Conceal. Plenty of squinting and cropping ultimately positioned a Little Stint, doing its greatest to remain hid within the dry grass: a Whimbrel offered a lot better views!
Shifting to the Centre Hides, we quickly found that prime water ranges (and the NWT’s Land Rover) meant that just some waders have been on present, better of which have been a Little Ringed Plover and a few fly-through Greenshanks. Time for espresso!
A trudge alongside to the Babcock Conceal was way more productive: Temminck’s Stint, Frequent Sandpiper, Yellow Wagtail and Wheatear have been most welcome, as was an pleasurable chat with Sue & Steve G.
